Saturday, 5 September 2009. For sale we have this delightful and highly collectable Whitefriars Glass duck in Sapphire Blue. This is the original style made somewhere between 1955 and 1958, with the fire-polished beak. In excellent condition with no damage and only the very lightest of shelf wear to the base. This is the smaller of the two sizes made at just over 14cm tall. Saturday, 8 August 2009.
Whitefriars Glass, 1970 catalogue. Many thanks must go to Paul Coe for allowing his 1970 catalogue to be digitised, and also to Colin Plews for the actual scanning. Fully searchable, thumbnails etc, once I have had time to slice and dice these images.
None of the photos above are of Whitefriars glass! This is a blog in which I hope to show some glass which is so often wrongly attributed as Whitefriars when it is not.

This is a very surprising concl.
